Violence in the workplace is a serious safety concern. One out of every six violent
crimes occurs in the workplace, and its most extreme form, homicide, is the
fourth-leading cause of fatal occupational injury in the United States and the
number one killer of women in the workplace.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries
(CFOI), there were 564 workplace homicides in 2005 in the United States, out of a
total of 5,702 fatal work injuries.

For that reason, SDS Tactical Solutions Corporation has developed a training program that goes beyond the studying
of statistical data and crime reporting charts, we have adopted a more PROACTIVE approach to the reality of
violence in the workplace. Most of the current programs that deal with this issue offer extremely passive and
fragmented approaches that does not address the challenges of the real world and the violence that surrounds it.

Our SDS Workplace Violence Awareness, Detection and Countermeasure Tactics program teaches employees how
to recognize and detect pre-incident indicators and warning signs of possible violent behavior, as well as how to
avoid or defuse potentially dangerous situations.
Our program also teaches effective and practical defensive tactics and countermeasures, preparing the employees to
safely respond (not react) on situations requiring immediate intervention as a means of protecting themselves from
imminent violence.

Being our company (SDS Tactical Solutions) a corporation founded by, and formed by active law enforcement
professionals, our knowledge and experience with crime, criminal and violent behavior, goes far beyond that one
found on other "expert companies" with extremely passive attitudes, and which experience with crime, and violence
does not go farther than the studying of statistical data and crime reporting charts.
